Prices for the ID. Buzz start from £57,115

Revealed earlier this year, it’s due to be joined shortly by the Cargo van version as the spiritual successors to the iconic 1950s Transporter and Microbus.

The Buzz MPV variant is available in three trim levels: Life, Style and 1st Edition.

Regardless of trim, all three come with a 77kWh lithium-ion battery giving a 258-mile range. It’s connected to a 204hp rear-mounted electric motor that delivers 310Nm of torque.

The entry-level Life starts at £57,115 and comes with LED headlights, heated windscreen, the Buzz box removable storage, Discover Pro navigation and infotainment with 10-inch colour touchscreen, and wireless charging.

The grade Style is available from £61,915 adds the ‘IQ. Light’ LED matrix headlights and adaptive interior ambient lighting and tailgate surround lighting.

The range-topping 1st Edition is priced at £62,995 and adds in 21-inch alloy wheels, Discover Max navigation system with 12-inch colour touchscreen and comfort seats with memory function.

All ID. Buzz variants feature a digital cockpit and include up to eight USB interfaces, including three USB-C ports for rapid charging supplied as standard, Hello ID. voice control and online functionality via We Connect and We Connect Plus. They’re also available with a two-tone paint option.

The interior also features recycled synthetic material and is leather-free, while a focus on sustainable components brings battery housings and wheel rims made from green aluminium while tyres are said to be from low-emission production.

Order books for the ID. Buzz Cargo van will open next month.
