APCOA Parking UK is expanding its charging network further in a multi-million-pound deal with Compleo UK.

Compleo UK will deliver a further 1,000 AC charging stations to APCOA by the end of 2024

By the end of 2024, Compleo UK will deliver a further 1,000 AC charging stations, joining the 451 AC chargers installed last year across six Network Rail public car parks run by APCOA.

The car park company will also extend its EV charging service offering, providing 24/7 customer support via its National Customer Service Centre and dedicated maintenance and support teams. This will give EV drivers added confidence and ensure a high-level of uptime on the charging network.

Kim Challis, regional managing director UK&I and group ESG director, said: “Compleo’s commitment to continuous development of charging technology and the support from the UK team make Compleo the perfect partner for our AC EV charge point network.”

The APCOA Connect payment app puts accessibility and customer experience first and is integrated via API with the Compleo backend software, enabling EV drivers to park and charge in either one single payment or separate transactions.

“We are excited with our partnership with APCOA,” said Valentin Scheltow, MD of Compleo UK. “The two organisations have in a short period of time made significant progress in the market.

Scheltow added: “We are now actively working on our next project for a major NHS Trust and five different city centre car parks across the UK.”
