Fleet operators asked opinions on PHEVs for European Commission research

Fleet operators in the UK and Europe are being asked to provide feedback on plug-in electric vehicles as part of a project to support their uptake.

The I-CVUE project seeks to gauge fleets’ willingness to pay for EVs

The Incentives for Cleaner Vehicles in Urban Europe (I-CVUE) research project runs from April 2014 to April 2017, and is funded by the European Commission and the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme of the EU.

The project targets both fleet operators and policymakers and looks to support the uptake of plug-in electric vehicles across Europe in order to reduce harmful emissions in urban environments by increasing the number of these vehicles in commercial fleets.

To assist with the project, fleet operators are being asked for their willingness to pay for EVs.

Surveys are open until the end of November and are located at: – in Dutch – for Germany and Austria – for the UK – in Spanish

Participation in the survey is completely voluntary and you may withdraw at any point. The researchers advise that none of the answers will be translated into any actual additional introduction of charges or taxes in the real world, and will only be used for research purposes.
