Genesis has uncovered details for the GV60 Magma ahead of its launch in the UK later this year.

The brand’s first high-performance EV, the GV60 Magma follows on from the concept two years ago and springboards the Korean carmaker’s plans for the Magma division, creating top-line vehicles to encompass its ‘Luxury High Performance’ ethos.
According to the brand, the GV60 Magma is distinguished from the standard GV60 by its elevated performance identity, enhancing every aspect of the driving experience.
It’s equipped with a dual-motor setup that delivers 650hp and acceleration from 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds, married up to an 84kWh battery that’s able to charge from 10-80% in 18 minutes.
The model has five driving modes, including a new Magma button that includes exclusive Sprint and GT modes with an extended Boost mode, alongside enhanced Virtual Gearshift and Drift Mode.
Design integrates functional enhancements to reduce drag and improve overall performance. The exterior features a wider, lower stance with a 50mm increase in track width and 20mm lower ride height than other GV60 models – reinforcing both aerodynamic efficiency and visual presence. It also gains 21-inch forged wheels, fitted with Pirelli tyres and Magma Orange brake callipers to further underscore the model’s “high-performance intent”.
Other exclusive features include a wing-type rear spoiler, Magma-specific head-up display and uprated suspension to enhance ride comfort, plus 10-way electric suede bucket seats and a Magma steering wheel.
The cabin comes with a 27-inch, panoramic Connected Car Integrated Cockpit, combining infotainment and driver information in a single display.
The system allows access to features such as Virtual Gear Shift (VGS), Drift Mode and High-Performance Battery Control (HPBC), which have been further optimised for GV60 Magma.
A static display of the GV60 Magma pre-production model is available for the public at the Genesis Studio in Battersea, from now until the end of March.
Order books for the GV60 Magma will open soon with customers already able to register their interest online or at their local Genesis dealer. First customer deliveries are planned for the second half of 2026.
