LDV EV80 now eligible for Plug-in Van Grant
Drivers and fleets opting for a new LDV EV80 electric van can now get an £8,000 grant towards the purchase price.

The LDV EV80 is now eligible for the Plug-in Van Grant.
The vehicle has now been added onto OLEV’s Plug-in Van Grant, which is intended to help with the cost of deploying electric vehicles.
The EV80 is available in two options: a 3,500kg GVW EV80 panel van with a payload of almost 1,000kgsand a chassis cab with a body and payload allowance of around 1,300kg. Both come with a 56kWh battery, and 92kWh rated motor and CCS (combined charging system) type 2, capable of both DC and optional AC charging.
Mark Barrett, general manager, LDV UK & Ireland, said: ‘Since its launch in 2016 we’ve had a fantastic response to the EV80 and now it is part of the Go Ultra Low initiative there has never been a better time for fleet owners to make the switch to plug-in vehicles. Environmentally and financially, electric vehicles are a great investment and when the long-term running costs are combined with the Go Ultra Low grant, purchasing an EV80 offers fantastic value for money.”
