Leapmotor has revealed prices for its budget-friendly B10 electric SUV ahead of its launch later this month.
Continuing the Stellantis-backed Chinese brand’s ‘value without compromise’ proposition, the B10 will be priced from £29,995 for retail purchases under its current inhouse £1,500 ‘Leap-Grant’, which is self-funded by the brand as its models aren’t eligible for the UK’s Electric Car Grant. For company car buyers, it’s priced at £31,495 OTR.
Leapmotor already sells the larger C10 SUV and the T03 city car. The new B10 C-segment SUV sits squarely in the middle, challenging rivals such as the Renault Scenic, Ford Explorer, Kia EV3 and more. It’ll be followed next year by the B05 electric hatchback that debuted at the Munich motor show, with a B-segment SUV and hatch to follow.
The B10 is built on the Leap 3.5 architecture, featuring advanced smart technologies, ADAS system and a customisable digital cockpit, “designed for tech-savvy and eco-conscious consumers”.
Using Leapmotor’s Cell-to-Chassis technology, which integrates the battery cells into the structure of the vehicle, the B10 uses a 67.1kWh ProMax battery, which offers a WLTP range of up to 270 miles and can be recharged from 30-80% in 20 minutes, with a maximum charging speed of 168kW. A heat pump and vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality are standard.
It’s powered by a 218hp rear-mounted motor that delivers a 0-62mph time of 8.0 seconds, and a 106mph top speed.
The B10 comes with a McPherson front suspension set-up and has been tuned for European roads with the support of the global chassis experts at Stellantis.
As with all Leapmotor models, it’s solely offered in a single “everything as standard” grade.
All models come with a 1.8m2 panoramic sunroof; electrically powered, heated and cooled ‘Eco’ leather front seats; 18-inch alloy wheels; 360-degree surround view camera; heated steering wheel; 12-speaker hi-fi; automatic climate control; 14.6-inch central floating touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; 8.8-inch instrument cluster; 64-colour ambient lighting system that can be synchronised with music; and a wireless charging pad.
Practical features include a powered tailgate, passenger space said to be class-leading, 22 interior storage spaces, total boot volume of 430 litres up to 1,700 litres, plus a 25-litre ‘frunk’.
Driver assistance technology spans some 17 different systems that include advanced emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind spot detection, door open warning (for cyclists) and adaptive cruise control, along with eight exterior parking sensors and four surround view cameras.

Order books for the Leapmotor B10 open in late October, with the first UK deliveries from early December.
