New all-in-one EV charging solution to power transition to green fleets

A new, all-in-one EV charging solution designed specifically for fleets and depots has launched in the UK.

Plug Me In Go combines hardware, intelligent software, flexible funding and round-the-clock support

Developed by Plug Me In, the financing and installation partner for businesses, local authorities and energy providers, Plug Me In Go combines hardware, intelligent software, flexible funding and round-the-clock support in one package.

Downtime and charger reliability are key issues for many fleet operators considering making the transition to an electric fleet. Drawing on real-world insight gained working directly with fleet operators, Plug Me In Go is designed to take the hassle out of charging, keeping commercial vehicles moving and minimising disruption.

Kim Ratcliffe, managing director of Plug Me In, said: “Plug Me In Go was built with one goal in mind: to take the hassle out of EV charging for fleet managers.

“We know that running a fleet is complex – tight schedules, cost pressures and the need for reliability every single day. Transitioning to electric should make things easier, not harder. That’s why Plug Me In Go is more than hardware. We keep your chargers running, your vehicles moving and your drivers supported – all with smart insights, proactive care and a team that understands what’s at stake.”

The ‘plug and play’ solution is designed to grow with the demands of the electric fleet sector and includes:

  • Full installation of AC and DC charge points and cover
  • Software – Plug Me In Pulse – to give complete control over charge point usage, access and costs
  • Specialist support for fleets with Shield and Shield+ – providing planned maintenance coupled with remote and onsite support to maximise uptime
  • Fully funded solutions to pay for Plug Me In Go over time

Ratcliffe added: “This is about more than electrifying transport – it’s about making the transition easier, smoother and more resilient for the businesses powering our UK economy.”
