Nissan has announced prices and grade details for its all-electric Micra, which opens for orders next month.
The sixth-generation of the popular supermini will be priced from £22,995, putting it on a par with its Renault 5 twin. It’s also expected to qualify for the Government’s £1,500 band in the new Electric Car Grant, cutting prices further.
Revealed this spring as the first of four new Nissan EVs, the Micra goes fully electric for its latest iteration – and will be available with two different battery packs and three grades.
It also boasts a better electric range figure than initially anticipated following further testing. The official range now reaches 260 miles for the 52kWh battery and 198 miles for the 40kWh battery, up by seven and six miles respectively compared to the initial announcement.

Based on the same AmpR Small platform as the Renault 5, the Micra is expected to stand out from its cousin thanks to British-led design and Nissan’s one-pedal driving.
Styling pays homage to previous generations of the beloved model and has also been designed to optimise airflow, reduce drag and improve overall efficiency to offer drivers maximum efficiency.
It’s able to charge at up to 80kW DC on the smaller battery and 100kW on the larger, the latter enabling a 15-80% charge in 30 minutes. A heat pump is standard on both battery options, as well as battery heating and cooling capability.
Drivers can also use the NissanConnect Services app to maintain remote control and access charge level, vehicle location, charging history and scheduling and cabin temperature remotely.
The new Micra also integrates Google Built-in services via the NissanConnect infotainment system, with Google Maps supplied as standard. This supports route planning. If the destination exceeds the available range, the system automatically identifies charging stations along the route, considering the charge level, average consumption, and temperature. It can even precondition the battery to ensure optimal charging speed.
The order bank for the new Micra will open on 1 September 2025.
