Northgate eradicates lead time delays with immediate electric van deliveries

Northgate is helping customers accelerate their EV transition by offering immediate deliveries of brand-new electric vans.

Northgate can offer both vehicles and charging infrastructure solutions as a single package

The vehicle hire and solutions specialist, which is exhibiting at this April’s Great British Fleet Event, says it can avoid the lead time delays seen across the sector on new vehicles thanks to its ready supply of a range of eLCVs.

While many fleets are looking to electrify ahead of the 2030, the current delays being experienced by customers for many new eLCVs is impacting their plans.

But proactive work by Northgate means its customers can avoid such delays and push ahead with their sustainability work as part of its robust electrification programme.

Branded Drive to Zero, the programme supports businesses of all sizes with decarbonisation plans through expert consultancy and solutions.

Uniquely, Northgate can offer both vehicles and charging infrastructure solutions as a single package, thanks to its relationship with ChargedEV, part of the Redde Northgate Group. Through this partnership, Northgate customers are able to enjoy a brand-new electric vehicle and the provision of suitable charging infrastructure via a single managed contract, and payable via a single monthly invoice.

Neil McCrossan, sales and marketing director, commented: “While lead time delays have become common place across the industry, Northgate has ensured that it has a readily available stock of new electric vans which can be delivered to customers within days. When this readily available stock of vehicles is combined with the support of our Drive to Zero electrification programme, there has never been a better time to begin the journey to an electric fleet.”

  • Northgate will be exhibiting at the 2023 Great British Fleet Event, which takes place on 25 April at Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes. The company will be showcasing its latest work to help fleets go electric while head of product development Joshua Hooper will take part in the Masterclass conference sessions.
