POD Point claims it was the first in the UK to launch a home charger, first to show live chargepoint availability, first to offer financial leasing and first to offer a smart commercial solution.

Last winter also saw the launch of a crowdfunding campaign that has raised £1.5m to extend the POD Point electric vehicle charging point network in the UK.

Now the company has sales in 14 countries, over 20,000 customers and more than 1,300 public charge bays.

POD Point says it offers intelligent charging solutions to UK homes, businesses and destinations, all backed up by its innovative cloud-based software and experienced support team. Its customers include O2, Tesco, Sainsbury's & NHS Trusts among others.
