Swarco Smart Charging has launched four new charging solutions to support the increasing adoption of EVs by UK businesses and consumers.

Swarco Drive is an AC charging station ideal for home charging

The new solutions include Swarco Swift, Swarco Drive, Swarco Stina and Swarco Stina Duo, all developed with aesthetic designs, flexibility in connecting and simple installation.

Swarco Drive is an AC charging station ideal for home charging, while the Swift is a slick, weather resistant charger with interchangeable heads and mixed connector options. The Swarco Stina and Stina Duo are compact wall boxes that are damage resistant and great when space is at a premium.

Swarco Drive delivers either 7.4kW or 22kW and Swarco Swift, Swarco Stina and Swarco Stina Duo provide power ranging from 1.4kW to 22kW.

Anne Buckingham, sales director, said: “We are very excited to be launching these products and in particular Swarco Drive which complements other chargers in the portfolio to give fleet managers a holistic solution for drivers to charge at work or at home.

“The solutions we choose are not only visually and aesthetically pleasing but also help customers in both the public sector and private sector electrify their fleet or decarbonise their roads, and contribute to their sustainability goals.”

All four new devices can be connected to WiFi, and Swarco Swift, Stina and Stina Duo can be accessed using the Swarco eConnect app. Swarco Drive can be accessed remotely using a dedicated mobile app, where charging sessions can be scheduled and monitored, and power output adjusted, and authorisation settings allow for off-peak and delayed start options.

The new devices are equipped with an RFID card reader, an OLED display, and an intelligent load balancing system to split power dynamically between multiple units in a chain, so the total charging power does not exceed overall output from the grid.
