2,000hp Ford Pro Electric SuperVan makes global debut at Goodwood
Ford has unveiled a 2,000hp all-electric van demonstrator at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, driven by Le Mans racer and electric record-setter Romain Dumas.

It’s the latest in a series of SuperVan demonstrators but the first electric version and the highest-performing Ford van ever.
Using the same floorpan as the recently revealed E-Transit Custom, it underscores the company’s commitment to go all-electric in Europe by 2030 as well as showcasing the capabilities of the Ford Pro standalone global commercial vehicle business launched last year.
The electric powertrain teams up four electric motors, a 50kWh liquid-cooled battery and a bespoke control system, generating a sub two-second 0-62mph acceleration time.
The SuperVan (see footage here) also features Ford SYNC connectivity, along with selectable drive modes and regenerative braking technologies similar to those on Ford production electric vehicles.
As with the Ford van range, the Electric SuperVan can send real-time data to software for remote vehicle management. Just like Ford van operators can use Ford Pro E‑Telematics or FordPass Pro to track the health and security of their fleet, so Ford Performance trackside engineers can monitor the Electric SuperVan via dedicated management software that translates live data into insights on speed, lap times and vehicle systems.
The one-off demonstrator vehicle was developed in secret by Ford Performance and electrified rally and racing specialists STARD in Austria, with exterior design by the Ford Design team in Cologne, Germany.

The Ford Pro Electric SuperVan made its debut today at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, alongside the new Ranger Raptor performance pickup.
