Arval UK and BNP Paribas Personal Finance are supporting Chery International’s entry into the UK market under a new financial services partnership.

The ‘one-bank solution’ will see BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK provide consumer finance while Arval UK will offer fleet and contract management services for Chery UK’s line-up.

The agreement builds on an existing strategic relationship between Chery International and BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK and Arval UK for last year’s launch of the Jaecoo and Omoda brands. The partnership has led to the financing of 35% of new car sales across the two automotive brands.

Chinese car giant Chery International officially launched its flagship Chery UK car brand this summer. The standalone brand debuted alongside the Omoda and Jaecoo marques following their successful launch in 2024, heralding the start of the next chapter in the company’s assault on the UK car market.

First to arrive are the Chery Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 8 SUVs launching this month, offered with pure petrol or plug-in hybrid power. These will be followed by the Tiggo 4 and Tiggo 9, ‘bookending’ the brand’s SUV line-up.
