Raw Charging and commercial property developer Landsec are celebrating the opening of a major new EV hub in Manchester by offering free charging for the half term.

The new site is located at Parrs Wood, one of Manchester’s premier leisure destination, and features 26 new EV charging bays with a mix of ultra-rapid, rapid and fast charging to suit all drivers.

Mark Welsby, centre manager at Parrs Wood, commented: “With so many people coming here to enjoy our cinema, bowling, gym, restaurants and more, having reliable and convenient charging on site means guests can relax and make the most of their visit. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this will have for our customers and the wider community as we support the transition to greener travel.”

The new site is the third major hub to open as part of a £24.5m national rollout by Raw Charging and Landsec. The collaboration will see more than 1,000 new charging bays installed across 28 flagship retail and leisure destinations. The rollout will continue at pace throughout 2026, with Raw and Landsec committed to upgrading legacy infrastructure and delivering the very best in EV charging technology for millions of visitors each year.
