Nye was most recently head of national sales at Mer and has more than a decade’s experience in the EV sector, also including roles at Rolec and Alfen.

As head of sales at Drax, Nye will help advance the company’s work with organisations to electrify their fleets and business premises. Drax can help businesses make decisions on switching their delivery and operational fleets and implement workplace and destination charging.

Adam Hall, director of energy services at Drax, said: “We have ambitious growth plans at Drax, so we’re delighted to have appointed Naomi. She’ll be working with the team to set our long-term sales strategy and supporting our customers on their journey to electrification.”

Nye added: “The team’s vision for partnering customers to electrify their businesses over the coming years is really exciting. I’m looking forward to working with my new colleagues, who have expertise in both EV and energy – a combination that’s invaluable in delivering for Drax customers.”

Drax also offers its My Electric Vehicles fleet management system, which gives customers insight into their EV fleet, charge stations and energy consumption in one platform. Customers have a range of payment options, including mobile payment using the Charge Assist app and payment-free charger access via RFID cards.
