The fiery Genesis GV60 Magma finally has an official price tag as the countdown to the Korean brand’s first high-performance car continues.

The performance-tuned electric crossover will start from £75,915 OTR when orders open in the coming weeks. Customers can already register their interest through their local Genesis Retailer Partner or online here.

The GV60 Magma advances the brand’s original 2024 concept, spearheading the Magma performance sub-brand and cementing its ‘Luxury High Performance’ vision with top-tier vehicles.

Building on the standard all-electric GV60, the GV60 Magma is equipped with a range of exclusive performance features, bespoke Magma design elements, five driving modes and fast charging,

Ben Sargeant, director of Genesis and customer strategy at Genesis Motor UK, said GV60 Magma marks a new chapter for Genesis.

Immense powertrain upgrades equip the GV60 Magma with advanced electric motors capable of spinning past 20,000rpm. This setup unleashes 650hp and a massive 790Nm of torque. Powered by an 84kWh battery, the car rockets from 0 to 62mph in 3.4 seconds before topping out at 164mph. It’s also able to fast charge from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes.

On the road, the GV60 Magma has a wider and lower stance including a 20mm reduction in the ride height compared to GV60. Additionally, at the rear, the car offers a dedicated bumper and rear wing spoiler to increase aerodynamic efficiency.

Built for extreme driving, the model features 21-inch forged wheels wrapped in Pirelli tyres and complete with four-piston monoblock callipers and 400mm front brake discs to deliver excellent braking performance, even during extreme driving conditions, bringing the car to halt from 62mph in 33.8m.

The GV60 Magma’s driver-centric interior blends premium materials with functional luxury. It features 10-way electrically adjustable artificial suede bucket seats, accented by aluminium detailing and a choice of Magma Orange or Ash White contrast stitching. Drivers can easily toggle between dedicated performance profiles, including Sprint and GT modes, using the exclusive ‘Magma’ button on the steering wheel.

Designed for an immersive driver experience, the e-ASD (Electric Active Sound Design) system generates an authentic, lifelike engine note that bridges interior and exterior acoustics. Up front, a 27-inch panoramic Connected Car Integrated Cockpit (CCIC) seamlessly merges the driver’s display and infotainment into one intuitive screen.

The GV60 Magma is available in one trim level with customers able to select from one of nine exterior colour options and one of two interior designs.
