The Jeep Compass Full-Electric now qualifies for the Government’s Electric Car Grant (ECG), shaving £1,500 off the price.
Prices for the Jeep Compass Full-Electric now start from £35,499 OTR with the Electric Car Grant
This incentive brings the starting price for the fully electric family SUV down to £35,499 OTR.
It also means the entire electric Jeep range is now eligible for the ECG, including the Compass and its Avenger smaller brother.
The third-generation Jeep Compass is built from the ground up on Stellantis’ dedicated STLA Medium platform, which is engineered specifically to accommodate hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fully electric powertrains.
The Compass is currently available with a choice of Full-Electric or e-Hybrid powertrains. The brand’s first fully electric four-wheel drive vehicle, Compass 4xe and Compass Plug-in Hybrid, will join the range later this year.
The Compass Full-Electric has an electric range of up to 285 miles and delivers 213hp and 345Nm of torque. An 11kW onboard charger and 100 kW fast charge means Compass Full-Electric goes from 20-80% charge in less than 35 minutes.
Kris Cholmondeley, managing director at Jeep UK, said: “Compass Full-Electric combines everyday versatility with capability and confidence drivers expect from Jeep, whether navigating the city or heading off the beaten track. With ECG eligibility the Jeep lifestyle is now more accessible than ever.”
