Launched at the CV Show in 2023, the new arrival provides a 1-tonne payload and a range of up to 230 miles (WLTP combined) on a single charge.

The new eLCV bridges the gap between the smaller eDeliver 3 and its eDeliver 9 big brother and is available in three cargo van size configurations (L1H1, L2H1, L2H2).

It’s offered with a choice of two battery sizes – 77kWh and 88kWh – and fitted with a 11kW onboard charger, giving a 5-100% charge time of around eight hours. It can also charge at 90kW via a DC public charger, going from 20-80% in some 43 minutes.

Practical features include a steel bulkhead with an observation window, a single sliding door, rear wing doors with 90-degree°/180-degree opening, and tie-down loops.

Onboard technology includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless connectivity on the road.

The eDeliver 7 also comes with a variety of safety features, such as blind spot detection, lane change assist system, rear cross traffic alert, front & rear parking sensor, reversing camera, front collision warning system, 360-degree camera and lane departure warning & lane keeping. Other technologies include emergency lane keeping assist system, adaptive cruise control with stop & go, intelligent headlight control, speed limit sign identification system and fatigue driving monitoring and early warning system.

Mark Barrett, Maxus managing director, said: “2024 is off to a great start with order books now open for the Maxus eDeliver 7 electric van at local dealerships across the country. In an era when sustainability guides customer choice, the eDeliver 7 is a game-changer in the electric commercial vehicle market. Its sleek design seamlessly merges functionality with aesthetic appeal and energy efficiency.

“If you’re looking to upgrade your work wheels, this is one van you really need to experience.”

The eDeliver 7 is available to order now with expected deliveries from the end of March.

All Maxus vehicles come with a five-year/60,000-mile warranty and include five years’ roadside assistance cover as standard.
