New Škoda Octavia SportLine available as PHEV

By / 3 years ago / UK News / No Comments

Škoda’s popular SportLine trim level is being rolled out across the Mk4 Octavia range, bringing vRS-inspired styling upgrades and the option of Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC).

The SportLine trim is available across the Octavia range, including hatch and estate and with diesel, petrol engines, mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, plus front‑wheel or all-wheel drive

Already available on models including the Karoq, Kodiaq and Superb, the SportLine trim debuted on the Enyaq iV electric SUV last month and is now being offered on the latest-gen Octavia.

It’s available across the Octavia range, including hatch and estate and with diesel, petrol engines, mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, plus front‑wheel or all-wheel drive.

Exterior updates bring the black detailing familiar from the SportLine variants for other Škoda models, including a gloss black finish for the bold front spoiler, the frame of the grille, rear diffuser and the brand’s lettering on the tailgate black. The hatch also comes with a black rear spoiler. Standard equipment for the Octavia SportLine includes 18-inch Vega wheels.

Interior upgrades include a three-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel and sports seats with integrated headrests, plus a bespoke finish for the instrument panel.

DCC Dynamic Chassis Control is available as an option, continuously adjusting the damping characteristics of the car and with settings ranging from comfortable to sporting. Other optional safety features include the Crew Protect Assist proactive occupant protection system with rollover function, safety assistance systems such as Collision Avoidance Assist and Turn Assist, as well as a new central airbag between the front seats.
