Octopus Energy’s Electroverse electric vehicle charging network is now connected to more than one million public EV chargers across the globe.

Drivers can tap and charge at eight out of 10 public EV charge points across Europe, spanning more than 1,200 brands including industry giants such as Ionity, Allego, Aral pulse, TotalEnergies, Mer, Fastned and Powerdot.

With more than 500 chargers added each day, the network continues to grow at record speed.

Launched in 2020, Electroverse is available in 40 countries alongside 20 languages and continues to expand, unlocking access to global charging for drivers in locations such as South Korea, Thailand and the French island of La Réunion.

Electroverse’s ‘one card, one app’ model enables drivers to power up without juggling multiple apps or accounts. Users also benefit from in-car tech connections such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a built-in route planner.

Electroverse also offers a ‘Plunge Pricing’ feature that gives drivers up to 50% off charging costs when renewable energy is abundant, encouraging cleaner, smarter charging habits.

And the platform now also allows drivers to save up to 40% on public charging through salary sacrifice – cutting the cost to power up by deducting costs directly from employees’ pre-tax salary.
