Electric car subscription service Onto has expanded its fleet with 250 Peugeot e-2008 GT models.

The Peugeot e-2008 GT joins the Onto subscription fleet, alongside the existing e-208 GT Line and e-208 GT

The fully electric Peugeot e-2008 pairs up a 136hp electric motor and a 50kWh battery, giving up to 206 miles of range on the WLTP cycle. It can also be charged at rates up to 100kW, giving an 80% charge in as little as 30 minutes.

The e-2008 GT model adds in design features including unique grille, diamond black roof, spoiler and door mirrors and full LED headlights with Peugeot’s ‘3-claw’ lighting signature. Equipment includes Peugeot’s new 3D i-Cockpit with a compact multifunction steering wheel, a configurable 3D head-up display panel and either a 7- or 10-inch HD capacitive colour touchscreen, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and Mirror Screen.

Safety features bring Peugeot Connect SOS and Assistance, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go function and Lane Positioning Assist.

The e-2008 GT joins the existing Peugeot e-208 GT Line and e-208 GT on the Onto fleet. As with all of Onto’s electric fleet, the Peugeot models are available for a single monthly subscription fee that covers insurance, breakdown cover, wear and tear, manufacturer recommended servicing and maintenance and charging at over 11,000 points. The service aims to provide a highly flexible alternative to full vehicle ownership.

Rob Jolly, CEO and co-founder of Onto, said: “The Peugeot e-208 has been a popular model with customers and we’re excited to welcome Peugeot’s second electric vehicle to our fleet. With a stylish trim and strong mileage it is bound to be in demand. At Onto we’re focused on making the switch to electric vehicles easy, accessible and affordable and we look forward to giving our customers even more choice.”
