Rolec Services has acquired the VendElectric and Group Manager charging networks.

The move expands the UK charging point manufacturer’s existing portfolio of EV charging and back office management solutions while also growing Rolec’s in-house capabilities with the inclusion of VendElectric’s technical team.

Rolec Services currently manages thousands of charging points on its network throughout the UK, including locations such as shopping centres, motor dealers and DHL.

Rolec managing director Kieron Alsop said the new acquisitions would enable the firm to scale up its services and solutions as the EV charging industry evolves.

“As an organisation we are always looking to improve and enhance our EV charging portfolio and are also actively seeking to acquire further companies as and when the opportunity arises,” he outlined.
