Situated on Fairfield Road, located just off the North Circular Road, the facility offers 18 charging spaces running at speeds of up to 300kW.

It’s part of Zest’s growing EV charging network across London, which includes sites with Hackney Council, Brent Council and TfL. The charging operator is expanding EV charging across the UK in areas where infrastructure is limited, making it easier for drivers to recharge conveniently, whether they’re at home, at work, or on the move.

Councillor Rick Jewell, Cabinet Member for Transport & Waste at Enfield Council, said: “This is an important development for Edmonton as we continue to support cleaner, more sustainable travel. Reliable access to ultra-rapid EV charging is essential to help more people make the switch to electric vehicles. These new charging spaces on Fairfield Road provide the kind of infrastructure our community needs to be part of the transition to a greener future.”

Robin Heap, CEO at Zest, said such hubs make sustainable transport a more practical choice while playing a meaningful role in broader regeneration of London boroughs.

He commented: “Public charging must keep pace with the rapid growth of EV adoption, particularly in London where private driveways are less common. Ultra-rapid facilities such as this one on Fairfield Road represent a vital investment in Edmonton’s future – supporting residents, local businesses and private hire drivers.”
