The electric hatchback adds another competitively priced electric vehicle option for employees, with salary sacrifice making EVs more affordable and accessible for basic-rate taxpayers.
The enhanced relationship with Geely Auto UK supports the introduction of the EX2 to the UK market, adding another strong electric vehicle option to Tusker’s salary sacrifice car scheme.
Uncovered last month, the EX2 is priced from £20,990 and blends its highly accessible price point with practical design and zero-emission driving capability.
Employer-led salary sacrifice schemes are surging, with recent BVRLA Leasing Outlook data naming salary sacrifice the market’s fastest-growing funding model. It offers a particularly sharp advantage for basic-rate taxpayers, combining low monthly rates and cheaper running costs into an affordable gateway to EV ownership.
“At Tusker, our mission is to help the UK drive a better car by making lower-emission vehicles more affordable and accessible through salary sacrifice,” said Kit Wisdom, managing director of Tusker.
“The Geely EX2 is a great car at a great price point, and it adds another compelling option for employees who want to make the switch to electric, particularly basic-rate taxpayers looking for an affordable monthly amount. By strengthening our partnership with Geely Auto UK, we can continue to support affordability, choice and accessibility for drivers and employers across the UK.”
Michael Yang, managing director at Geely Auto UK, added: “The Geely EX2 is one of the most popular EV models around the world, with more than 460,000 units sold in 2025 in China alone.
“Geely Auto UK remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering new energy mobility solutions that combine advanced technology with exceptional value and more affordable ownership for users across the UK. Tusker’s extensive experience in vehicle benefits and fleet electrification makes them an ideal potential partner to help introduce a practical, new energy vehicle to the market and together, we look forward to supporting greater EV adoption and helping more drivers experience the benefits of electric mobility.”
