Half-price EV charging at 65+ National Trust sites drops rapid charging below 40p/kWh

Raw Charging has launched a bumper half-price discount across more than 65 National Trust destinations to celebrate Heritage Open Days, which runs from 11-20 September 2026.

For DC chargers, the discount brings the cost to less than 40p per kWh during the offer period

The initiative cuts the cost of electric vehicle charging at over 500 charging bays across England, including popular landmarks such as Stourhead, Fountains Abbey, Montacute, Claremont and Charlecote Park.

The offer spans both AC and DC bays. For drivers using DC rapid charging, the promotion brings the cost to less than 40p per kWh during the offer period.

The discount coincides with Heritage Open Days, England’s largest festival of history and culture, which offers free public access to hundreds of historic buildings and spaces.

The initiative builds on Raw Charging’s wider partnership with the National Trust, which has already delivered charging infrastructure at 68 sites across the UK, comprising 464 AC bays and 34 DC bays, and powered more than 5.6 million emission-free miles to date.

Jason Simpson, CEO of Raw Charging, said: “Heritage Open Days is all about opening up the UK’s most loved places, and we wanted EV drivers to be part of that. By offering 50% off charging across more than 65 National Trust destinations, families can plan a full day out at sites knowing they can charge easily and affordably while they explore.

“Our partnership with the National Trust has already supported more than 5.6 million lower-emission miles, and this offer is one way we can recognise the drivers helping make that happen.”
