Arnold Clark has introduced its inhouse Electric Car Grant scheme, giving customers the chance to enjoy a £750 discount on any used electric car or home charger.

The scheme runs until 3 November 2025 to help drivers make the switch to electric.
Launched following the UK government’s own £650m investment in grants for eligible, new electric vehicles, the initiative gives customers two ways to take advantage of the Electric Car Grant:
Russell Borrie, chief executive officer at Arnold Clark, added: “To enhance this already amazing deal further, we’ve doubled our EV stock, giving customers an incredible range of electric vehicles to choose from.
“New and existing EV drivers will, of course, be supported by Arnold Clark Charge, our UK-wide EV charging network. These developments all cement our position as industry leaders when it comes to supporting EV infrastructure.”
A recent study by Arval found that more than half of UK fleets (52%) operate second-hand cars and vans, and a further 27% believe they will do so in the next three years. The 2025 Mobility Observatory Barometer also shows used vehicles are most often used for pool fleet purposes and their acquisition is more common among smaller operators.
