Fiat has reintroduced its £1,500 E-Grant, cutting EV prices for retail customers.

The offer gives a £1,500 saving on the fully electric Fiat 500e, Fiat 600e, Abarth 500e and Abarth 600e. It’s available to all retail customers on orders placed from 1 August 2025, enhancing existing offers on the four models.

Fiat originally introduced the E-Grant in June 2023, following the end of the UK’s Plug-in Car Grant in 2022 and has been vocal in its calls for the Government to reinstate the PiCG amid concerns over languishing retail customer demand for EVs.

While the Department for Transport has now launched the Electric Car Grant, the market is still waiting to hear which models will qualify and there are concerns that buyers are holding off on purchases.

The Fiat 500e small EV delivers 118hp and acceleration from 0-62mph in 9.0 seconds. Two choices of battery, 24 or 42kWh, give a range of up to 199 miles on the WLTP combined cycle.

The Abarth 500e is the Scorpion brand’s sporty interpretation of Fiat 500e and is equipped with a 42kWh battery coupled with a powerful e-motor, resulting in 152hp and 235Nm of torque. Combining Abarth performance with electric power delivers 0-62mph acceleration of 7 seconds.

The Fiat 600e compact SUV delivers 154hp and 260Nm of torque, with acceleration from 0-62mph in 9.0 seconds and three driving modes – Eco, Normal and Sport. The 54kWh lithium-ion battery capacity gives a range of more than 250 miles on the WLTP combined cycle.

It’s also available as the Abarth 600e – the most powerful Abarth ever and featuring a 54kWh battery and 280hp e-motor for a maximum speed of 124mph and acceleration of 0 to 62mph in 5.9 seconds.

On-the-road pricing for the Fiat 500e starts from £25,035, with the 600e priced from £30,035, Abarth 500e from £29,985 and Abarth 600e from £36,985.
