EV charge point management system (CPMS) provider Fuuse has appointed Roger Hunter as its new CEO, marking the next step in the firm’s growth journey.

Hunter brings extensive senior leadership experience across the EV charging sector, including as global vice president, E-Mobility at Shell, where he headed up Shell Recharge Solutions.

Hunter is an independent non-executive director at Ignitis, the largest charge point operator in the Baltics and was previously accountable for EV charging globally at BorgWarner.

With his wealth of industry knowledge, Hunter is well placed to continue the company’s rapid growth and solidify the company’s position as the lead CPMS provider in the UK. The announcement of the new appointment comes days after Fuuse has announced the launch of Fleet 360, the UK’s first charge point management system (CPMS) to unify workplace and depot charger management with home and public charging.

Founder and current CEO Michael Gibson will step down on 1 September following a decade leading the business. Gibson started the company in 2016 as a data analytics business before launching Fuuse in June 2021. Since then, he has overseen the rapid growth of the business and several successful funding rounds including its £8.7m Series A in May 2024. Hunter will work alongside Gibson during a handover period ahead of formally assuming the role.
