Jeep has discounted prices for its Avenger Electric range by £3,750 (incl. VAT) in a move to match the Government’s Electric Car Grant.

The electric SUV is yet to qualify for the Government’s own scheme but the carmaker’s own ‘Jeep EV Grant’ is available across the Avenger Electric range, including Longitude, Altitude and Summit models until 30 September.

With the Jeep EV grant, the Avenger Electric line up now starts at £26,249 OTR for the Longitude variant, £28,249 OTR for the Altitude and £30,249 OTR for the Summit.

All Avenger Electric models generate 156hp of power and 260Nm of torque while the 51kWh battery provides a range up to 248 miles. They also support 100kW DC rapid charging, enabling a 0% to 80% charge in just over half an hour, and come with an 11kW onboard charger.

Altitude models include cruise control, hill descent control and SelecTerrain, which offers six modes: Normal, Eco, Sport, Snow, Mud and Sand.

Summit variants also gain 18-inch alloy wheels, full-LED projector headlamps and tail lamps and privacy glass. The interior is equipped with an electrochromic frameless rear-view mirror, as well as wireless charging, blind spot monitoring, 360-degree parking sensors, foldable and heated power door mirrors with auto folding function and puddle lights, and Level 2 Autonomous driving.

Avenger Electric line up comprises of Longitude, Altitude and Summit trim levels. The standard price for e-Longitude starts from £29,999 OTR, e-Altitude from £31,999 OTR and e-Summit from £33,999 OTR.
