Renault opens flagship rnlt concept store at Battersea

Renault has brought its global rnlt concept store format to the UK with the opening of a showroom at Battersea Power Station.

rnlt London Battersea showcases Renault’s latest pure-electric models

Fittingly located on the neighbourhood’s Electric Boulevard, rnlt London Battersea showcases Renault’s latest pure-electric models, including the R5, R4, Megane and Scenic, together with accessories and products from the brand’s Originals Collection.

It also features a vinyl bar where visitors can sit listen to some of the biggest hit records via personal headphones under a partnership with Sony Music.

The French firm said rnlt London Battersea provides an “immersive snapshot into the brand” along with its all-electric models, culture and “vibrant” merchandise.

It’s significantly smaller than a traditional Renault showroom, but uses an innovative layout that optimises the available space, “providing visitors with a striking and colourful display of the brand as soon as they enter the store”.

The Renault 5 Turbo 3E concept will also be on display until 21 September following its showcase at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Battersea store mirrors that of Renault’s other global rnlt stores, already open or due to soon in central locations that include Paris, Milan, Brussels, Madrid, Rome, Rotterdam and Berlin.

David Isherwood, marketing director, Renault UK, said: “Renault will always have traditional showrooms but rnlt ramps up customer convenience and the visibility of the brand, guaranteeing that urban visitors and passers-by enjoy an immensely easy to access and totally immersive experience of the brand.”
