Plug Me In has appointed Kim Ratcliffe to its newly created managing director role, supporting plans for expansion in the smart energy infrastructure sector.

Kim Ratcliffe, managing director, Plug Me In

Ratcliffe will step into the position from June, having previously held positions at Vodafone, TalkTalk and British Gas.

Established as an electric vehicle charge point installer, Plug Me In has since advanced into offering a range of clean energy solutions for homes and businesses, including offerings such as its Charging-as-a-Service and Heat-as-a-Service propositions.

Part of the Calisen Group, it’s selected by leading UK energy companies as their EV charge point and air source heat pump installation partner.

Ratcliffe will work alongside the existing leadership team to find and deliver smarter energy solutions, driving the business and its customers closer to the net zero goal.

Sean Latus, CEO, commented: “Plug Me In’s success story has never been just about numbers; it’s about pioneering innovative solutions that drive us towards our vision of a smarter, more sustainable future for all. With her incredible track record of innovation and expansion, Kim is the obvious choice for the managing director position. We’re lucky to have her, and I have no doubt that her transformative leadership will be intrinsic in Plug Me In’s future success.”
