The Range Rover Sport Electric is officially open for orders, combining 550hp of power, up to 378 miles of range and uncompromised all‑terrain capability.
Priced from £109,810, the brand’s second fully electric vehicle arrives hot on the heels of its bigger brother, bringing dual-motor, zero-emissions performance to Range Rover’s most dynamically capable model.
Developed in parallel with the flagship Range Rover Electric and built on the same Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA-Flex), the Sport Electric places a heavy emphasis on driver engagement while preserving everyday operational usability.
The first-ever, all‑electric Range Rover Sport will be built in Solihull, UK, on the same production lines as PHEV, petrol and diesel versions.
It is powered by a 118.5kWh lithium‑ion battery and features dual motors for up to 550hp and 850Nm of torque – the most torque of any Range Rover Sport. This delivers 0‑60mph in as little as 4.3 seconds in Dynamic Launch Mode. The new electric version also has a 61% stiffer body structure and a 73mm lower centre of gravity than the plug‑in electric hybrid models.
It’s set up for a greater emphasis on driver engagement and sporting response with uniquely tuned Intelligent Traction Management, virtual all‑wheel drive, Dynamic Air Suspension and electronic Active Roll Control (eARC). The result is wading capabilities through up to 900mm of water and the ability to climb 45‑degree inclines.
Matt Becker, vehicle engineering director, Range Rover, said: “The stiffer architecture and lower centre of gravity, combined with precise torque control and advanced chassis technologies, creates a vehicle with sharper responses, greater agility and increased confidence. It feels smaller, more planted and more responsive than you would imagine. All without sacrificing refinement, comfort or breadth of capability.”
As with the Range Rover Electric, it gets an 800V architecture and split‑charging technology, which can add 136 miles (220km) range in as little as 10 minutes, along with innovations and new technologies such as ThermAssist heat management, which maximises its electric potential.
In terms of design, an aero‑optimised grille and alloy wheel designs mark the Range Rover Sport Electric out from the rest of the line-up, while a unique sound design emphasises its responsive and agile driving character.
Martin Limpert, managing director of Range Rover, said it’s the most dynamic expression of the brand yet.

The line-up spans Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE, Autobiography and First Edition specifications. There’s also an optional Black Pack and Satin Wrap. The curated First Edition is finished in Zadar Grey with Satin Wrap, with black contrast roof and 22‑inch alloy wheels.
Alongside this, drivers opting for the Range Rover Sport Electric Autobiography are also eligible for the Range Rover Bespoke commissioning service, offering an extended choice of “near‑limitless” paint colours, configuration combinations, elevated material finishes and personalisation – including unique embroidery – to create a truly individual Range Rover Sport Electric.
Crucially for fleet operators focused on vehicle uptime, each model features a cloud-based ‘Battery Digital Twin’. This virtual replica monitors battery health in real time, allowing Range Rover to predict potential issues and deploy proactive maintenance fixes remotely via software-over-the-air (SOTA) updates without the vehicle ever needing to visit a workshop. The Range Rover Sport Electric also gets a comprehensive eight-year or 100,000-mile battery warranty.
First customer deliveries are scheduled to begin in early 2027.
