Raw powers up Wolverhampton’s largest ultra-rapid EV hub with free charging offer

Raw Charging has gone live with a major ultra-rapid EV charging hub at Bentley Bridge Leisure Park in Wolverhampton, supported by a free charging offer over the coming days.

Drivers can get free charging at the new hub from 22-23 September 2026 by signing up to Raw Rewards

The new site features four AC bays, two DC rapid bays and 16 DC ultra-rapid bays, where visitors can top up while dining or enjoying onsite leisure facilities, including Hollywood Bowl, Cineworld, Wagamama, Nando’s and Tim Hortons.

Mark Welsby, centre manager at Bentley Bridge Leisure Park, commented: “This investment in sustainable infrastructure supports greener travel and strengthens Bentley Bridge as the ultimate charge-and-go destination.”

The launch is being promoted with an offer for free charging at the new hub from 22-23 September 2026 by signing up to Raw Rewards.

The installation is the latest in Raw’s ongoing charging rollout to meet growing demand from drivers and property owners. The hub continues the company’s growing collaboration with Landsec, which owns and manages Bentley Bridge. The £24.5m, 20-year partnership is delivering 1,000 new charging bays across 28 of the UK’s most-visited retail and leisure destinations, with over 150 bays already deployed. The site also furthers Raw’s work with Aviva Investors, with additional rapid hubs currently in development across both portfolios.

Alongside Landsec and Aviva Investors, Raw is rolling out an £11m ultra-rapid trade-focused network with B&Q, with the first wave already installed at the Cheltenham, Sidcup, Boston, Stanmore and Galashiels stores. The initiative will roll out to 28 stores across England and Wales over the next 12 months.

Across its wider network, Raw installed over 400 new charging bays in 2025 alone and now powers more than 400,000 electric journeys per year.

Jason Simpson, CEO of Raw Charging, said: “By partnering with leading property owners, we’re making sustainable journeys simpler and helping accelerate the UK’s transition to zero‑emission travel.”
