EV salary sacrifice specialist The Electric Car Scheme has appointed industry rising star Rob Buckland as operations director, effective immediately.

Buckland has specialist EV experience having successfully founded and scaled Gridserve Car Leasing, before leading its acquisition into Carwow, and accelerating the Carwow Leasey business. He’s also held senior roles at Select Car Leasing and Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions.

Buckland joins The Electric Car Scheme as the company celebrates several significant milestones – delivering 45% growth in car orders from Q4 2025 to Q1 2026. Additionally, the B-Corp won the Innovation in Mobility award at the Great British Fleet Awards 2026, held last night following the Great British Fleet Event.
