Chinese electric car brand Xpeng has appointed Octopus Electric Vehicles as an approved leasing partner for its newly launched G6 SUV-coupé, supporting its UK launch.

The G6 – the brand’s answer to the Model Y – is now available through Octopus EV’s salary sacrifice scheme, making the EV even more affordable.

The G6 teams up advanced tech and sleek design with up to 354 miles of range. The all-wheel-drive powertrain delivers a 0-62mph time of less than four seconds while 800V architecture gives ultra-rapid charging at speeds of up to 280kW.

Available in both Standard Range and Long Range versions, it’s priced from £39,990 but also now available through Octopus EV’s all-in-one salary sacrifice scheme, which includes the car, charger, home energy bundle, maintenance, insurance and more – helping drivers save up to 40% compared to traditional ownership.

The new car brand joins the EV-only leasing firm’s growing line-up of more than 100 electric cars.
