DKV Mobility now offers access to more than a million EV charge points across Europe, establishing one of the continent’s largest charging networks.

The latest milestone means the international mobility services provider’s network spans across the region, offering near-complete coverage in Germany, France and Italy, as well as along major European transport corridors.

The group now has over 789,000 charge cards in circulation and, in 2024, processed around 755 million kilowatt-hours of electricity via charging – equivalent to around five million kilometres driven and underlining its role in the field of sustainable mobility.

DKV Mobility continues to expand its acceptance network, adding an average of 8,000 new charge points per month since the company launched its first charging card, the DKV Card +Charge, back in 2015. In 2019, the offering was expanded to include @home and @work charging solutions, enabling customers to charge their vehicles at home and at the workplace. To date, DKV Mobility has installed over 10,000 wall boxes.

Other milestones include the 2021 acquisition of Greenflux, a leading European provider of EV charging software. This acquisition enhanced DKV Mobility’s expertise in EV supply solutions and provided strong support for commercial fleet operators transitioning to more sustainable mobility models.

And at the end of 2024, DKV Mobility announced a strategic partnership with Aachen-based company Smartlab, a market leader in the aggregation, management and billing of charging systems. As part of this partnership, DKV Mobility acquired a majority stake in Smartlab, further strengthening its position as a software-as-a-service platform provider in the e-mobility sector.
