Leapmotor UK, the Chinese EV venture from Stellantis and China’s Leapmotor, has dropped prices across its recently launched electric car range.
Introduced as speculation mounts that the Government’s own Electric Car Scheme will exclude Chinese models, the carmaker’s inhouse ‘Leap-Grant’ scheme opens from today and offers immediate savings of around 10% on its all-electric range.
The Leapmotor C10 family SUV (see our test here) gets a £3,750 ‘Leap-Grant’, cutting the OTR price to £32,750. The Tesla Model Y and Škoda Enyaq rival offers up to 263 miles of range (WLTP), panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, heated steering wheel and seats, 12-speaker audio and dual HD displays.
And the T03 city car (tested here) gets a £1,500 reduction, cutting it to £14,495, which is said to make it the most affordable new five-door electric car currently available in the UK. The electric city car also comes with up to 165 miles range (WLTP), rapid DC charging, 10 ADAS features, panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control, rear parking camera with sensors, keyless start and 10.1-inch touchscreen.
