Lexus has dropped prices for the RZ, bringing its electric SUV within the reach of more drivers.

The twin to the Toyota bZ4X and Subaru Solterra, the newly updated RZ opened for orders late autumn ahead of deliveries in Q2 2026.
Effective from 2 February, the revised pricing structure sees prices for the new front-wheel-drive RZ 350e and the all-wheel-drive RZ 500e reduced by up to 14%; pricing for the new F Sport 550e and F Sport Takumi 550e performance flagships is unchanged.
Entry prices now start at £48,365 for the RZ 350e Premium with 18-inch wheels. That’s down 10% or more than £5k from the previous £53,995.
Notably, the new RZ range now provides six model options – the entire RZ 350e front-wheel drive line-up – priced below the new proposed £50,000 Expensive Car Supplement threshold for Vehicle Excise Duty. As announced in the Budget, this is due to come into effect on 1 April, but will be backdated to 1 April 2025, so vehicles purchased now will qualify for the new rate when it comes into effect. When launched, the exemption will save owners £425 in VED costs each year from their second to sixth year of vehicle ownership.
The changes will result in tax savings for fleets and private drivers while also cutting Benefit-in-Kind tax for company car drivers.
Debuted in autumn 2025, the revised RZ benefits from significant technology and performance enhancements that include a comprehensively revised powertrain and higher capacity battery that deliver both an extended driving range and faster, consistent charging performance.
In addition, increased body rigidity, retuned suspension and an evolution of Lexus’s Direct4 all-wheel drive system contribute to greater handling and ride comfort.
The new pricing is effective from 2 February; all existing orders for the models will be transferred to the new prices.
