Lincolnshire electric car drivers get help with rapid charging

By / 5 years ago / UK News / No Comments

Electric car drivers in Lincolnshire can now charge their vehicles using rapid chargers at the Deeping Shopping Centre.

InstaVolt’s chargers accept contactless credit or debit card payment with no connection fee, minimum charge or monthly subscription fee

The chargers have been installed in partnership with InstaVolt and offer contactless credit or debit card payment with no connection fee, minimum charge or monthly subscription fee. Drivers don’t even need to register or set up an account first.

The chargers have been installed for free by InstaVolt, which is also providing free maintenance; the business makes its money from the sale of electricity to drivers.

Kevin Smith, centre manager at Deeping Shopping Centre, said: “We’re seeing more and more electric cars visiting our shopping centre and we’re delighted to be able to help their drivers charge up while they’re with us. The chargers are proving popular already and drivers have told us they love how easy they are to use.”
