Bidding is now open in the second round of the Ultra Low Emission Taxi Infrastructure Scheme

In April 2014 the Office for Low Emission Vehicles announced a £20m scheme for an ultra low emission taxi chargepoint infrastructure. £14m was awarded to 10 local authorities in 2017 to provide infrastructure for ultra low emission taxis across the UK.

The second-round competition is now available to other local authorities who can bid for the remaining £6m. Applications for grants close on 30 November 2018. For more details including application forms and guidance, click here.
