Raw Charging powers up new South London hub with week-long free charging offer

Raw Charging is celebrating the launch of its new ultra-rapid EV charging hub in Forest Hill, South London with a week of free charging.

Raw Charging will offer free charging at the site from Wednesday 20 August for a week

Located on Dartmouth Road, just 200 metres from Forest Hill Station, the flagship new hub features 12 ultra-rapid EV charging bays and a “standout” hospitality experience.

The site was acquired and developed by Hubber, a specialist real estate and infrastructure platform founded by an ex-Tesla team. Hubber focuses on transforming underutilised urban property into next-generation high-powered hubs, helping to remove deployment barriers for charge point operators and commercial fleets.

This new hub sits at the heart of one of Southeast London’s busiest commuter corridors. With 26% of Londoners commuting by car, the site provides critical infrastructure for EV drivers heading into central London. Chargers include 3 x 150kW and 3 x 300kW ultra-rapid units serving 12 vehicles at any one time, including one priority bay, catering to rapid turnaround and high-volume usage.

The site also features the Dartmouth Arms, Meatliquor’s only pub, where the first 25 drivers each day will receive Meatliquor Vouchers.

To launch the site, Raw Charging will offer free charging from Wednesday 20 August for a week, welcoming EV drivers to the site.

The new Forest Hill site marks the first in a wave of Raw Rapid hubs coming online at key London retail, leisure and hospitality destinations over the next 12 months in partnership with Hubber.

Neil Broadbank, chief commercial officer at Raw Charging, commented: “Thanks to Hubber and their dynamic approach, we’re unlocking the development and energisation of these sites in record time, with this particular site being acquired, developed and constructed from start to finish in nine months.

“Raw are catering to very high driver demand, and we’re enabling and enhancing experiences with EV charging at retail, leisure and hospitality destinations nationwide.”

Harry Fox, co-founder and CEO, Hubber, picked up: “Large, high-powered hubs like Forest Hill play a vital role in enhancing London’s fast, reliable charging network. We’re proud to deliver this in partnership with Raw and look forward to the long-term benefits this collaboration will bring to drivers and the city.”
