The new Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) will be backed by an extensive warranty package when it relaunches in the UK next month.

Mitsubishi Motors in the UK said the eight-year/100,000-mile warranty package (whichever comes first) would give new owners unsurpassed peace of mind and confidence in the Outlander’s hybrid technology and engineering quality.
Sharon Townsend, head of the distributor that’s spearheading the Japanese brand’s return to these shores, said: “Mitsubishi Motors has a long-standing reputation for building vehicles that customers can rely on. With the new Outlander PHEV, we offer a warranty package that reflects our confidence in its quality and longevity, helping drivers make an informed and secure transition towards electrification.”
On sale from May and priced from £46,995, the plug-in hybrid SUV returns to the UK five years after Mitsubishi exited in 2021.
The Outlander PHEV builds on the best-selling success of its predecessor and ushers in “significant advances” in electrified SUV performance, quality, refinement and everyday usability areas. It will also be available in seven-seat form for the first time in the UK.
The new family SUV contender combines its EV credentials with an efficient petrol engine and rally-bred full-time 4WD, with a combined range of more than 500 miles.
