Rolec is augmenting its AC electric vehicle charging range with the addition of DC rapid chargers for the UK market.
The firm, which manufactures and installs AC chargers, has signed a partnership deal with Taiwanese firm, Delta Electronics, that will see Rolec offer full DC rapid charger installation, maintenance and after sales support service. This will cover a range of charging speeds and capacities, including 25kW, 50kW, 75kW, 100kW, 125kW and 150kW ultra-fast chargers. The majority of the units also feature up to six charging outlets and the ability to charge up to four electric vehicles simultaneously.
Kieron Alsop, Rolec’s MD, commented: “After intensive research, which included undertaking a comprehensive due diligence process, we felt Delta and its high-quality DC rapid charger range was the perfect fit for us, complementing our already extensive AC charging range.”
