British EV technology company Electrogenic has expanded its global installer network with the addition of two new partners in the UK.
Electrogenic’s proprietary hardware and software packages convert vehicles to electric drive
The latest additions are the Mini Restoration Company and Land Rover expert Moorland Rovers, who will install the Oxford-based firm’s ‘plug-and-play’ drop-in EV conversion kits.
The proprietary hardware and software packages convert vehicles to electric drive, and are available for a range of models that include the Land Rover Defender, DeLorean DMC-12 and Jaguar E-Type. The kits can be easily installed by a trained mechanic and are entirely reversible, enabling the car to be returned to its original internal combustion engine specification at a future point, if desired.
The latest additions join a global installer network that includes partners in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Europe, as well as other firms in the UK.
Beyond its turnkey powertrain kits, Electrogenic is known for its development of software-defined vehicle electric powertrain solutions for OEMs, as well as its bespoke EV conversions and work for the defence sector.
Steve Drummond, co-founder of Electrogenic, said: “These partnerships will give more UK classic car owners access to our transformative EV technology, ensuring their cherished classics can be enjoyed for generations to come, with all the benefits of clean, efficient and reliable electric drive.”
